Produce Buyer

Spencer graduated from the University of Vermont in 2017 with a degree in Wildlife Biology. Since then, he has been working seasonal avian technician positions for the past six years. He and his partner have been living in a tiny house in the Hudson Valley for the past two years, which is when Spencer started as a grocery stocker at Hawthorne Valley for his off seasons. His passion for local food and farms has led him to the produce buyer position where he is committed to bringing in as much local produce as possible to the farm store.
