Dear Valued Community,
Yesterday, Governor Cuomo lifted all COVID restrictions as NYS has reached the 70% first dose vaccination status. As we have reached this benchmark, we are updating our mask policy in the Farm Store.
Effective July 1, masks for vaccinated customers and employees will become optional. Unvaccinated individuals will still need to wear a mask inside the store, as per federal CDC guidelines unless that guidance changes before then. We will not be asking for vaccination proof from our customers.
As we continue to move out of the pandemic, we are excited to also bring back the bulk bins and the deli hot bar in the near future. We will continue to sanitize frequently touched surfaces throughout the day and provide hand sanitizer at the register. Our curb-side pickup & delivery program will continue, though with a small service fee added.
We are excited to have things move back towards normal, but would caution that if local COVID infection rates spike, some of these restrictions may be put back in place.
Finally, I’d like to thank all of you, our customers, for all your patience and diligence in following the guidelines for masking and social distancing these last fifteen months. Our community is why we are here, and your support throughout this whole time is greatly appreciated.
